Will is incredibly talented and help us achieve the kitchen of our dreams. He was incredibly responsive, and had incredible solutions when we discovered a few hidden surprises. Can't wait to have him help us redo our bathrooms.

Will did an AMAZING job on our recently remodeled bathroom. The first time I met Will was virtually, while he was showing us a mock up of what the bathroom was going to look like. I INSTANTLY felt like I was on an episode of Fixer Upper with the renderings. However, he out shined Joanna Gaines.

From start to finish, Will was professional, congenial and timely. We had an issue with a mirror being delivered broken (which we didn't know upon delivery as it sat in its box until we needed to put it up). Will instantly started looking up replacement mirrors that would fit with the design and aesthetic of the space. He was able to get us a FULL refund on the damaged mirror as well as get the new mirror ordered in time so that our project could finish in a timely manner.

All in all we had a great experience with Will and plan to use him for future home renovation projects and you should as well.

I've never hired an Architectural Designer before and have been morally opposed to it ever since I became a home-owner in 2006. It seemed pretentious and unnecessary, in my opinion, since my father and I had successfully renovated three houses previously (nothing fancy.. paint, re-flooring, roofing, landscaping, curb appeal type stuff for resale). I've begrudgingly hired a General Contractor 2-3 times for permitting and city compliance for previous projects but felt taken advantage of since fees were so unpredictable and open-ended. After meeting some of Will's clients, several of which are repeat customers (which is a rarity in this industry, I learned), he was able to help me with a variety of vital investment decisions with my properties:

1. First at a home I own in San Luis Obispo around permitting and zoning an ADU, and significantly improving the livability and design of my home's kitchen using his tradesman discounts to forecast a budget I was comfortable with.

2. Second, redesigning my current San Francisco apartment's living and dining room; paint + wallpaper selection, furniture upcycling/reuse so I didn't have to spend unnecessary $, and because he had some extra time in between site visits, he personally educated me on installing a new chandelier fixture, so I didn't have to hire an electrician. (My building was built in early 1940, so the wiring is super old/complicated.. I never expected an Architectural Designer to handle something like this.. GC/electricians quoted several hundred dollars previously).

If you want your home to be beautiful, functional to you and your family's needs, up to code - or if you are simply trying to increase your home's appraisal value drastically, call Will. The ~20 years of experience focused specifically on property renovation shows, and the value versus the cost is far greater than I anticipated after researching many other firms.

Every day we get to enjoy the work of William Adams Design. Spending so much time at home during the pandemic meant that our home space effectively became our life space. The design work on our kitchen allowed it to be the functional kitchen we needed for the umpteen loaves of bread we baked...but the light-filled nook also served as an office, therapy space and meditation room. :)
